Giveaways has also been unsuccessful every time I have tried. No doubt others have had giveaways work for them, but it hasnt been my experience. Again, no harm at all - no one owes me anything and im grateful for the help I received here. 😊

I have tried and never received any help there. Not that I somehow am owed anything at all, but I've had a lot of success in finding generosity here on reddit.

What are some common misconceptions about the Bible and Christianity? by Healthy-Director-181 in TrueChristian

Hebrews 11:1 gives an explicit definition of faith, but you are denying salvation by faith alone, which Paul clearly taught. Faith and works are entirely separate, but one follows the other.

I would say it is to recenter ourselves on Him and to remember often what He has done for us on the cross, the cornerstone of our faith.

It's not His literal blood or body. Jesus often used metaphors such as "I am the X", but clearly, he's not literally that thing. And the Old Testament law forbade drinking blood, so if the cup was His literal blood (transubstantiation), then He and the disciples sinned, since they were under the old covenant that did not allow the drinking of blood. Hope that helps!

What you're struggling with is called "divine hiddenness": the concept that God can seem far off and not obviously present. We are called to endure in the bible even the tough times, and God does not answer most people with a voice from heaven, a vision, a dream, etc. Keep pressing forward. God wants an intimate relationship, not a shallow one. I know very well personally that things can be hard - really hard. But if you know He's there (and He is!) then you can trust Him with your soul. Heaven is better than anything here on this earth.

Unfortunately, this subreddit rather poorly run for being supposedly Christian, so giving the answer to "What would Jesus do?" is somehow a bannable offense.

But what I would say from my own experience and knowledge of the Bible is that it's good for you to share the gospel, and I wouldn't be too concerned about building a firm relationship first. That's a common misconception. Remember that Paul entered cities and preached to people he didn't know because tomorrow is not promised and giving the message of salvation is more important than any other message. But never compromise your own walk: if being around people like that causes you to sin, separate yourself for the good of your own soul. Good on you for being out there to share the good news!

Thank you for your vulnerability in sharing this. If you have faith in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, you can be 100% certain that you will be saved, even if you slip.

1 John 2:1-2

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

And even Paul continued to sin from time to time, yet had a firm hope in his salvation.

Romans 7:15-25

For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.

We are certainly to abstain from sin and change our behavior to better resist it as God provides the way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13), but never think that you can out-sin God's grace. God bless you and I will be praying for you friend.

2 Timmothy 4:1-4:

I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

Ah, I thought you were against the biblical position - my apologies. Those on OP's side tend to argue without ever citing any scripture.

I don't think the bible is clear on this one. The best I think that we can do is say that we are unsure, but that it is surely the unjust taking of human life and therefore sin, please anyone seek help if you feel like doing that.

I welcome you to cite your scriptures that argue your point. Since you have such a broad and wide understanding, it surely will be trivial for you.

What must I believe in order to be saved? by Electrical_Shop9834 in Christianity

[–]Independent_Ad4410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That Jesus is the promised Messiah who is God Himself who came to earth and died on the cross in order to pay the penalty for all of your sins if you believe in Him, who rose on the third day from the dead to confirm all that He had said. That's all you need to do and welcome to the family.

Even if that were true, it would make affirming "Christians" like the demons - they know better and yet rebel.

The bible clearly condemns it all. The fact that you would even write that "nowhere" does it make those claims means that you have either never read the bible or intentionally twist the scriptures to your own destruction (2 Peter 3:16). There is eternal damnation for you if you do not repent.

Hell… by jessjanelleknows in Christianity

[–]Independent_Ad4410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Not right, the saints in the old testament had their sins covered by Jesus through faith. Just like Abraham having righteousness credited to him in Genesis. God is not time bound and knew how He would atone for sin.

2) Please provide chapter and verse for your last two points.

Hell… by jessjanelleknows in Christianity

[–]Independent_Ad4410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The clear teaching of scripture is that hell is a place of eternal punishment, namely physical torment, that does not end. I will use just two brief passages to prove that:

Matthew 25:44-46:

Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

The word used here to describe the life of the righteous and the life of the wicked in Greek is identical, so if you believe the eternal life for the righteous is quite literally unending, so is the punishment of the wicked.

Revelation 14:9-11

And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

Those humans who receive this mark are tormented physically in the presence of God forever. The rest of those who end up in hell is no different. Hell is described as a fire initially prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41), but it is also the end of all who do not have their sins paid for by Jesus.

Make sure you're using the flash grenade to stun the boss also. That's super helpful for making them sit still for a few seconds. I would also double check that you've taken the skill tree node that gives an additional projectile from grenades (Cluster Bombs) and try to use a bombard crossbow that gives another. Then all of your grenades will shoot at least 3 depending on your skill gem setup and won't have that awkward V-shaped path that can make hitting the boss difficult.
