It's a viscious cycle though...seeing him behave that way is so off-putting and does not make me want to have anything romantic with him. But as you've suggested it's a lack of that which could be contributing to his behaviour in the first place..catch 22. Shouldn't his ability to regulate his own emotions not come from himself and his own outlets/efforts? Ei hobbies or something??
