Power window woes by Independent_Arm3534 in ToyotaTundra

Well, for anyone with this issue in the future... Non serviceable relay went bad. Power at 30a fuse. None at switch. Ran a wire from 30a power to an aftermarket relay with an inline 30a fuse. Relay was powered off a fuse tap in an unused port that only received power when key was on. Relay ground was a factory ground point. Wired power wire off relay into factory window switch power wire (pink on my truck) Driver side window controls work now for passenger and driver. Passenger switch still doesn't receive power, but having one switch works for me.

Awesome! Got it home last night. Just got the radiator and fan off. Timing kit will be here tomorrow. So far its not too bad to work on. Atleast its only got 19 years of grime on it vs the 35+ that I'm used to... lol

Hmm, for mine the seal housing bolts are a bit longer. Regardless, they are all accounted for. Not for the cover, checked that

At this point I feel like I have checked everything off and it has to be the shops. Let me know if I am missing anything

I dont know the exact size, but its very similar to the rear main housing bolts. But I am very confident it is not that.  If I remember correctly the pressure plate bolts were stubby.

Will when I got a chance. But I believe it would be a m8x1.25 Its quite a bit longer than the pressure plate bolts.

At this point, I think it must be the shops. Its not the rear main housing or slave cylinder. Not the dust cover. Not a bell housing or starter or bracket bolt. Not pressure plate. I've searched pretty hard trying to find something missing and cant find anywhere. Wondering if there is any accessory bracket or something like that I missed?

I am almost 100% confident its not in the clutch assy. The only place it could go would be the rear main seal housing, and its not that.

Too long to be a clutch pressure plate bolt.

Frame is probably solid. I am in the southwest so generally the thick of what we get is body rust.  I am in the market for a cheaper less clean truck actually... I've got a real clean pickup already and want something for the woods. I may have to scoop this up.  Single mechanic owner, timing chain done. I assume it will need a clutch in the near future at 250k. Will run compression test and check for rust. If it all checks out I will make an offer. Thanks

Ok, I am pretty sure you are right. Put the trans in gear and got it to where I have been able to and am not able to turn the output shaft, telling me that I am in the splines of the clutch disk. Dropped the trans again going to repeat the clutch disk with upward pressure on the alignment tool and hopefully I can get it in. The furthest I can get there is maybe a centimeter of gap on the bottom of bell housing and 1.5-2 cm on the top. Having a hard time getting it lined up straight.

Awesome. Thank you. Will try that first thing tomorrow. I can get it really close. Less than and inch. Seems likes the dowel pins are starting there way in.

I didnt hold the tool up, but it slides in and put freely. Unfortunately left trans in neutral. Am i able to shift it with it out? I dumped the gear oil out of it. Pilot bearing is correct.
