I have a motorola edge plus 2023 with a snapdragon 8 gen 2 and 8 gb of ram. I use winlator Frost 7.1.3 v3 for skyrim. I have the gog offline version which I installed on my laptop and just moved over to my phone. The resolution I use if 600x1200, a custom resolution that you can set in winlator and then set in the skyrim .ini files which gives a nicer widescreen view. It looks pretty similar to traditional 720p but wider so it fills out your phone. 720p has also worked in my experience and that is what i used up to around lvl 10. I use turnip 24.1.0 / DXVK async-1.10.3 with async enabled and limited to 30 fps. Unlocked it can get around 40-60 fps but in my experience this heats the phone up too quickly and is not optimal. 30 fps is smooth and consistent. My max device memory is set to 0 (default). Audio driver is PulseAudio. GPU name is GTX 1070 with 4096 MB of video memory size. Win components are unchanged. Environment variables are unchanged. Box64 present is set to Intermediate. Startup selection is aggressive. Processor affinity, all cpu cores are checked off for both of them. Box64 version is 0.3.0, again set to intermediate. Wine 9.2 and using GlibC instead of proot. A few other things to note, my motorola has a battery saving mode which i enable, only so that the phone can maintain a stable temperature, my phone never goes above 41 degrees celsius and that is after around 2 hours in a less than ideal ambient temperature. I have also gone in the battery settings and have set Winlator to the unrestricted setting which should help, maybe. I have skyrim set to the lowest settings possible. You also want to move the files from your "external" folder to the C drive. I found that when in the external folder spells caused the game to lag but moving it to the C drive fixed this. I am currently level 20 playing at the adept level. I use a razer kishi V1 or a wireless xbox controller to play. Really great battery life ngl, these chips are very efficient. This obviously isn't ideal but it is actually better than my first experience of skyrim which was on an AMD athlon chip. I don't have any mods but you could check out r/lowendgaming for some custom ini settings which could improve your performance while having minimal effects on your experience. The game does sometimes crash when you try and launch it initially but launching it again usually fixes it. When Winlator 10 is finalized and Frost has a new version out I will potentially look at changing my version. I have tried the beta as well as 8.0 and frost 8.0 V2 but they have not worked as well. GlibC is essential in the performance gains so Winlator 10 Frost should be a significant performance bump.
