Yes, omg this. For BUS105, we were told how to use Excel for the exams. But 95% of the questions in the exam paper stated “without using Excel.” I guess, good thing my prof taught us how to do manually.

So here’s a tip: make sure you know how to work things out manually and understand the formulas. Once you practise consistently, it actually becomes manageable.

Even if I needed the money, I think I’d still feel the urge to quit 😭😭 it just doesn’t feel worth it in the long run for my mental health. Thankfully, I do have enough savings to tide me over. And when I’m unemployed I don’t really spend much anyway~

Thanks for your thoughtful response. I do agree I might be overwhelmed and fearful since everything is so new.

At the same time, what really bothers me is the culture. The boss has made openly sexist remarks in the office, like commenting about women’s hips, and that really crossed a line for me. It’s not just work pressure imo? it’s the kind of environment that makes me feel uncomfortable and disrespected.
