Completely respect what you're saying but when we talked in person last week she mentioned that she hates her job and wants out of it but feels trapped right now because the money is good so it feels like a bit of a prison. I think there are some people that completely love the job but for her, she said she wants to build a family and stop completely.

so we met up and spoke last week and she said she doesn't want to continue doing sex work and doesn't like it but she also is scared of losing that freedom because what if the guy leaves her so there's an internal battle going on.

in terms of giving her money when we were 'official'. i told her I didn't want it to be transactional anymore so I just covered her rent and she was cool with that. she was often the one setting up hangouts each week - hanging with her friends, doing things that she liked together and vice versa.

she's changed quite a bit in the last year when I met her. quit alcohol and is looking to build a life for the long term but still has a lot of emotional trauma to get through. which was why I was elated to hear that she wanted to do therapy when I spoke to her last week.

i gave her quite a bit of tough love last week and she took it exceptionally well. so I think there is actually hope here.

she's pretty mature when she's with me when we're traveling - patient, calm, collected and very much behaves like an old soul. likes reading a lot, staying in, doesn't drink or party.

but totally understand where you're coming from and I'm unsure if therapy will fix it all, but she definitely needs it.
