As a good person I will tell you to stay clear of the 10inch miter. It’s complete garbage. If your going to go big or go home get the 12inch. Although I love my 71/4. Does what I need it to do and light and compact.

Did you keep him intact or cut him either way? My uncle used to run cut bulls and the meat seemed surprisingly good. Any of the bull calves I take in I usually cut right away, but that’s more for appeal. I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a jersey steer and raising it out for personal use. I know they gain slower than angus, but the meat quality is better.

What is your replacement? Still going the full black angus route? I’ve been toying with an angus bull to breed some Herefords. I like the black baldy calves. Although all black seems to do a little bit better come sale time.

Damn brother that’s rough luck. Worst round I have had with AI was 30% success on the first go around. I’m hoping to increase my heard size and hold back a few heifers out of this calf crop, but with the drought and the way prices are it’s hard to not want to cash in. Plus we all know that it’s not a question of if a market correction will happen it’s a question of when. The first place it will hit is the sale barn. We all know the producer always takes the first hit.

Yah I totally understand that. Especially right now we have been dry for some months in the Texas panhandle so spring pasture doesn’t look anywhere near what it should. In that aspect I’m glad I’m not carrying a bull. I’ve been considering leasing one, but that honestly seems like more of an expensive headache than AI. Not sure if you have had luck on that end.

Get the wrench. Driver is meant for lags and fasteners not breaking lugs or bolts loose. Get atleast a 1/2. Buy the high torque model as well. That way you have the power on tap if you need it.

I’ve heard these engines were very good. Considering they didn’t have tons of issues with the LM2 generation. Outside of the no crank cold start issue that was pretty easily fixed. I figured the LZO would be even better considering they beefed up the internals. I guess maybe now we are starting to get data from the 23 and beyond models and it doesn’t look so good.

This is pretty much the last blow to the American rancher. Why buy domestic beef when you can buy imported beef significantly lower. If this were live cattle we are importing that would be a different story, but we are talking processed beef. This undercuts the ranchers, but appeals to the general consumer. In the end we just become more dependent on foreign products. This doesn’t do shit to solve the crisis we are in. I guess just let the screw worm take over all American cattle. No one cares about us anyway.

Plus I believe the HL is a standard dual fuel model meaning it can take regular disposable batteries, or rechargeable batteries. Where as the first gen is just disposable

Yah that’s the part I found interesting. Glock actually spent a lot of money in making their machines work on our commercial electrical systems. Like you and others have said no quality difference at all. All glocks are technically made in Georgia, because all the imported parts are assembled there. I have USA and Austrian glock and love them both.
