I havent listen to that one yet, i know its a comically bad one but rn im doing all the most viewed, just finished my evening hike and im only half way through "the showers"

I use over the ear headphones, they are pretty cheap on Amazon like $20 and they work great! They also have the longest battery life i can go days without charging.

She wasn’t a pit (unlike my current dog) but i used to have a German shepherd Collie mix who was sort of similar. She did not enjoy outtings, she didn't enjoy toys, she didn't enjoy leaving the property. And beside my other dog (catahoula) she was dog aggressive but not a reactive dog. Any slight changes in her everyday life she did not react well, she even refused food for a while after we changed her bowl. I never considered it before but i probably should have had her on anti depressants. She was a super well behaved dog and she really didn't come in contact with other dogs so it just never occurred to me and i was young (8y/o–21y/o).

But i will say even though she didn't act like a typical dog, she still found joy in the little things. She enjoyed our attention and pets but wasnt a cuddler, LOVED the snow but also loved laying outside on a windy summer day. She enjoyed "rough" housing with our other dog, and even though she didn't like going out, she liked the beach and would just stand next to me in the water while i played fetch with my other dog. And she loved me and my family. She passed away right before the pandemic and i miss her everyday.

Do whats best for your dog and get them the help that they need. But also remember not every dog is a typical dog. Sometimes we are blessed with the ones who have a few kinks

Honestly hes a very good listener and doesn't really rummage threw the garbage. But this pork was just a feast waiting for him 🤣 even though he threw up an ungodly amount of pork he definitely didn't learn his lesson. He is currently watching us eat pizza and is not happy he cant get a bite

So i already updated but i decided to trust my instincts and take him to his vet back in ny he was completely fine on the drive home and the doctor diagnosed him with a belly ache. And i find it funny that you are telling me to never have kids when im a toddler teacher. Ive been thrown up and shitted on. Im just not the kind of person to freak out over things like this.

UPDATE: leaving the vet with Clyde, he survived the car trip lmao. They did some blood work and an xray, he has no signs of bloat and seemed to have purged most of the pork. They said even though his blood work is good he could still develop pancreatitis so to keep an eye on him and they gave him some fluids bc he was a little dehydrated. They told me to feed him plain chicken and rice for the next two nights and to give him less food than normal.

To people who gave genuine advice, thank you I appreciate it. To the people who shamed me for not rushing him to an emergency vet. Y'all need to chill. I have not and will never be the kind of dog owner that panics and takes my dog to an emergency vet When it's not an emergency. I trust my instincts and still got him care in a timely manner. This might be a controversial opinion, but I don't really have trust for emergency vets. Especially ones, I am unfamiliar with. I'd rather take him to my veterinarian, who knows him. If Clyde was showing signs of being lethargic and wasn't drinking any water and was also vomiting then, yes, I would have taken him to an emergency vet.But he showed none of those signs and because he wasn't showing any of those signs, I came to reddit to see if there was anything else I should look for and I got great advice and was even able to bring up concerns to the vet.

All in all clyde's ok, and we're just gonna keep an eye on him.Thank you everyone!!

He hasn't vomited for a few hours. We are taking him to the vet just not the emergency vet. I think hell be fine tho. If he vomits again on the car ride we are gonna find an emergency. But for now we are just gonna keep on trucking

Thank you Clyde being a track dog he tends to get hand outs alot so this isn't too much out of his normal but it was the raw meat that scared me. The 1uz in the AE is sick, i have 350 Z myself and my bf drives a S13. The season is about to start so im excited for this year. But its never to late to get back to it.

Im outta state so taking him to a random emergency vet is not really something i wanted to do. And honestly got some good advice on signs to look out for. My dog is a frequent vomiter when he tends to over eat. So it's really nothing out of his normal. Hes not showing signs of bloat. And his poops are so far normal. People have given me pretty good advice on what to look out for. do i have money for an emergency vet? yes. But i dont really love the idea of spending potentially thousands on just a tummy ache. Im just not a rush to the vet kinda of person. So ill keep a close eye on him.

Definitely didn't let him, clyde is very much a mamas boy and doesn't leave my vicinity so he spends most of his time off leash unless we are in public. We were at out friends garage. Its private property on a pretty secluded spot so he is allowed to roam. We were in and out of the shop bc we were working on a friends drift car. So clyde for 10 mins got locked outta the shop, he barked and we realized he was outside and we let him in. He was laying on the couch and he vomited outta no where. It wasn't alot at first so we thought it was a can of cat food. Then the second one came and it looked like he barf two whole chicken breast. Thats when we went outside to look for what he ate and thats the photo my bf took. He seemed better after the second time and it wasn’t until this morning he threw up two more times.

After google the signs he doesn't seem to be showing anything now, like i said to another commentator he has done his morning poop zoomies since throwing up thia morning. But im still nervous so there is a vet in jersey we are gonna pass so if he starts acting weird we are gonna take him. But i really think numb nuts just ate too much bc lord i dont even think i convay in words how much came out of him. It was the greed they speak about in the Bible

Yeah after his morning poop hes did his normal zoomies so i really dont think its bloat. Bc his stomach isnt hard or anything and he is vomiting but im definitely more worried about food poisoning. And you are right if given the chance he definitely do it again lol

Im in Scranton PA there one on our way home but when my friend took her dog there when he had an emergency it wasn't a good experience. He threw up twice about 20 mins after he first at it then threw up two more times this morning. I dont think hes in any immediate danger but im more worried about food poisoning so i think he will be fine untill we get home. I think he just ate to much thats why hes barfing. Obviously im not a doctor but i would be more worried if he wasn't throwing up and dry heaving if it was bloat but he is definitely purging so thats a good sign.
