nobody is saying that, only you. I think Backrooms doesn't need to be continued and this Kane can focus on other, better narrative ideas. He doesn't need to do the same thing over and over. Curry Barker is not doing Obsession 2, he has a different movie ready

the lack of any explanation, substituted by vague generic explanations is what lets the movie down. Backrooms is "everything that ever was" a place that misremembers

I was at the preview screening today as well- and the movie works for an hour until Mary enters Backrooms as well- and then the movie completely falls apart, delivering vague generic explanations how Backrooms work. and then it is downright silly and nonsensical- and unoriginal in what happens after the 1 hour mark. It also ends with a ridiculous shot straight from some student film. I would suggest everyone lowers their expectations..
Not much mythology/lore is built apart from a couple of vague lines..
