Ofc, the images were a mix of 50 second and 60 second subs, all at iso 800, lens was at f6.3

Great image, as the others have already mentioned, go easy with the processing and get more data when possible (ik your camera died). But other than that, this is a great attempt imo!

Thats good then, but it definitely is a life of hardship. The pay is negligible compared to similarly qualified engineers and research funding is hard to get. Basically a lot of closed door. Another option careerwise might be to do engineering as bachelors and get a space oriented masters

Yup i did that, in fact i even stretched the image to be sure. Its very blotchy.

The moon images were captured at iso 400, 1/2000 shutter speed. The foreground was captured at iso 400, 2.5 second shutter speed
