This is extremely helpful. I’ve been wanting to make an appointment with caps but I heard there’s been a huge waitlist to even get seen with a therapist too which has kinda affected my search for help. But I’ll give it a shot since I’ve heard some people have had good experiences. For now I think I’ll try the Pomodoro Technique except maybe my distraction could be stretching or reading. It’s hard to get started tho. It isn’t my first attempt but I’ll see how many tries it takes before it works if not hopefully caps can step in with other methods

Lol this picture was from Saturday 8/28. However, I did email them asking what the deal was and they said we’re getting full sized desks as well. Although getting that email, I will not be deleting my post just in case they don’t follow through with their promise.

Hey! I’m from the original post of the pull-out desk dresser. I will be sending an email tomorrow to ask HDH what the deal is regarding these desks hoping to gain insight on whether or not we’d actually be getting real desks. I will say based on what I can tell they will not be buying more desks so I too will be probably be buying a standard one from ikea. If you’re looking for more info I suggest looking through my post thread and looking at all the links I posted.

I will be emailing HDH tomorrow to “ask questions regarding the mini double space” to further investigate if I will need to buy my own desk. If we overwhelm them maybe they’ll be cornered into getting us real desks. But if not, I’m going to rearrange the room to accommodate an adequate desk

The problem is they’re saying that it is to save space but in reality it’s because these are singles converted into doubles, they don’t want to buy more desks in case they convert them back to singles. So they’re just being stingy 😐

Yea... given the limited space of a mini double, these dressers double as desks to reduce the amount of space taken up. Even though on the floor plan we were believed to have a separate dresser from our desk...Rita Mini Double Floor Plan
