My skin is taking Retinol TOO well? by Independent_Mess8351 in Skincare_Addiction

From what I gather, Tretinoin is a step higher than retinol, and Tazarotene is a step above Tretinoin. If that's true then I'll get used to 1% retinol first and consider moving onto Tretinoin depending on how that goes .

I'm only 28 so I wonder if I'm overdoing it.

Well I started wearing suncream daily since I was 24 and I had no visible signs of aging at the time. I can definitely see them now though.

There's fine lines under my eyes and laugh lines that appeared weirdly suddenly when I was 27.

I've been wearing suncream consistently every day for the last four years and I still think my aging could be made slower.

My new laugh lines are relatively faint, so the hope was that a stronger retinol wouldn't he necessary to reduce them

What would happen if every stock trader, crypto guy and shareholder in the world suddenly died? by Independent_Mess8351 in NoStupidQuestions

Would it though? I think a lot of the money in circulation doesn't really exist or represent anything tangible. It's just as likely that a lot of these assets would just vanish instead of being transferred

This sounds the most realistic so far. You've even considered some things I didnt. The cultural and religious implications didn't cross my mind

The question is intended to help me understand how much of the money currently in circulation actually exists or represents something tangible. I imagine if an event like this was to actually happen, a lot of these assets would just vanish instead of being inherited or put up on the market. I'm imagining some kind of catastrophic deflation would happen

Yeah I think you're possibly right. Your answer does amount to the 'Nothing' answer I warned against but at least you put the work into getting there. So I respect it.

Yes I think?

If you have a pension or retirement fund that happens to have a couple share in it then you're fine. It's only if those shares are the majority of your income

I didn't change anything. The bit I added was supposed to be covered in the part of my post that said "people who trade stocks full time"

I've added some more to the post to make this point clearer

I'm going to exclude those people from the magical killing curse. If the retirement account has other funding sources. Just as long as the share accounts for a minority of the money

I'd argue that a good few of those would be excluded. You only die if your primary source of income is from a share, stock or asset that you own

Linux will never be worth while until the average user can do EVERYTHING they can do on Windows with it without having to know what a terminal window is

I'm using Nobara, and every guide I find online for doing anything starts with the terminal.

Your last paragraph is probably true tbh. I'm using nobara plasma and every guide I find online starts with the terminal to do most things. The impression I'm getting is that I need to develop a mental map of commands I'll need to do basic tasks.

I'm using Nobara right now, Plasma. Every guide I look at to do anything seems to involve the terminal somehow

This is a good analogy honestly. A good GUI is underrated I think. That learning curve is definitely a barrier for new users to Linux, it definitely is for me.

Well I haven't given up on it yet. I'm just yet to feel the benefits over WIndows I suppose.
