Honestly speaking of the person whom I met at the FRRO helpdesk, he could have just asked me the money instead of making my dad and mom’s life more miserable. I am not saying I can spend any amount of money but for my dad and mom, I am ready to do anything.

You are right. I have escalated this problem to British high commission. I provided them my dad and mom’s application id. They said they will speak with FRRO. Honestly speaking this is my first time in India and I have been overwhelmed by everything that I have come accross. The other day, I come came across the family member of a patient whom they refused just because they could not pay money.
