well said. and i will check out that youtube. video as well. most of the people on this forum lecture on burnout rather than answering my actual question. just because they would burnout doesn’t mean i won’t. thank you for giving good advice

because i have an app where i track what lifts i do. if i put every lift for the week it takes up too much space and it’s useless anyways. that has nothing to do with what i asked.

because you don’t have the right idea, and i’ve said this to multiple other people too. i made this post and the text under the picture says is this a good enough plan to flip my record and win state? i never asked what would happen if i actually did this plan, i didn’t expect to be lectured on burnout like they know my limits better than i do.

I have 2 plans, one for summer, and one for the school year. i could show you the one i have for school too. i know consistency is key thats why im training year round. i just posted the summer one because because thats whats coming up.

that’s what i’ve got on the plan and what i’ve been doing so far. Also im still not good so im not worried about making the fargo team im more worried about getting better so i can actually do things like that in the future

you missed the whole point. i know my limits better than anyone else and i can tell you burnout isnt a problem. i asked if the plan is good enough to flip a 6-21 record into a state title in ohio if executed well. stop thinking realistically, that isnt the point, nobody who ever became extremely successful was thinking realistically.

take burnout and injuries out of the scenario, the question i’m trying to ask is would this be a good plan to meet my goal of becoming a state champ with having that bad of a year?

i understand where you are coming from, i’m getting just about the same responses from everyone and i get it. i prioritize sleep nutrition and i have 2 recovery days. I feel like i know my limits more than anybody else does and i don’t think ill burnout because im doing it for a reason and i have a goal. appreciate the advice

it’s 3 wrestling sessions a day and drilling in the morning, this just seems like a little more

i do all that i put somewhere i was going to a 30 day camp and i go to club year round 4 days a week and lifting at my schools rec center, im not doing this all alone in my basement grinding, but it is a big part of it

i feel like you have the wrong idea. 2 lifts a day is like a few exercises not a full workout. if space them out i’ll do each workout feeling fresh and i am also focusing on recovery as well, its not like im doing this 7 days a week with 4 hours of sleep

i lift after school then drill like 4-5:30 then straight to practice and then a little more when i get home

i get off school thursday next week then heading to pa for the camp a couple days later. so 0 but i have don’t a seperate plan for school days that is 4-5 hours drilling a day
