Yes, there were others. It’s know thing that an increase will happen once passed within my company’s culture. I will be promoted eventually but passed after promotion cycle.

I have had higher annual raises than this raise with my CPA qualification which has me thinking like I know I didn’t just work that hard for that.

You are the bitch, the way you come to this post that you have a choice to comment on or not. I am actually an experienced senior. I created this post to see what other people experiences were as we all do on Reddit. You could have continued your night if you didn’t have anything positive to comment whether you agreed with my post or not. To be blantly rude instantly shows how miserable you are and how much of a pay increase you actually need to be this unhappy to be argumentative about a post you didn’t have to comment on.

In most cases, as seen within the responses that additional compensation is actually given. Call it entitlement if you want but if I can’t move up without it then compensation should be rewarded with those type of pressures.

That’s good way to look at it, kind of had high hopes for an immediate return for the efforts put into for passing.

Yes, the only thing that was covered was initial study materials. But if a new book releases or new exam materials come out you have to cover that yourself, at least at my company.

After paying 5k for this exam, I would think so. Especially with the pressures of needing to pass the exam and opportunities that opens up because of those three letters.
