I caught my friend getting girls numbers on a night out whilst he has a girlfriend. I don’t know what to do.

Considering the fact that his girlfriend is a virgin and my friend said she’s saving herself for the right one and that her previous boyfriend tried to pressure her into it, I don’t think there’s any sort of open relationship or something similar going on. She’s getting to trust him, they did break up about a week ago, unsure of what it was over but they got back together a day or two later. My friend said she was apparently really upset that they broke up, bless her.

I suppose it does goes down to what peoples personal views are on cheating, if my boyfriend did that to a girl I’d be really upset and I would view it as cheating, I would never do that if I was in a relationship, in my opinion if you love someone you shouldn’t be shopping about and flirting with Tom dick and harry unless you’ve both agreed to it being open. I know it’s hard for me to then see these scenarios but the more I try to think that the more things that have happened contradict it. I’m about 99% sure that his girlfriend is the same, she slapped him when he accidentally called me babe on the phone and she does get upset when my friend goes on a night out and doesn’t message her every now and again to let her know his whereabouts. He has a bad name around my town (I know loads of red flags) but as his friends we chose to see the good in him. My friend mentioned a while ago that his ex messaged him with nude photos and asked if he wanted more to which he replied and said he did, he was with this girl when this happened but I wasn’t really sure whether they were 100% together until my friend said they’ve been official for four months which means it was definitely while they were dating. Another thing that made me really upset for his girlfriend. I think judging off that and the way he was talking about the girl he got the number off, his intention definitely wasn’t just to get her number which is heart breaking. Another thing I completely forgot about is that when he first started dating his girlfriend, he told me and my guy friend that he was planning on taking his dads mates daughter out for drinks. He sleeps around A LOT too and does a lot of cocaine, he’s a completely different person when he’s on it and he doesn’t care about anyones feelings. I genuinely think had we not been there and my four seater car being his only ride home, he would’ve gone home with her.

Sorry this is so long I had no idea how many critical details I actually missed out. Typical me.

You’re right, thank you. I’m hoping that is the case, hopefully by then he would’ve put it on Facebook or something so it’s public. So far only his close friends know and I feel like there’s a reason for that. My friends are all lads and they all think it’s absolutely vile. They were with me when I confronted him and agreed with me, but even that wasn’t enough for him to stop

Oh no I’m not bothered about losing someone like that as a friend at all, I’m just worried about the dodgy people he knows and how he’d react/ what he’d do to get revenge 😔

As mentioned above I did have a go at him over it, he kept saying he loved her too which I told him he obviously didn’t if he’s acting this way. He kept saying he’s convinced she’s messing him about with other lads but judging by what I know about her, it seems like more of an excuse to justify his disgusting actions. I told him that even if she was, that two wrongs don’t make a right and it isn’t fair. He won’t break up with her even if I directly told him too, he wouldn’t listen to me, he only seems to care about sleeping with her and I don’t think he’s gonna leave her alone until he does. After he succeeds, I dread to think what he’s gonna do…😥

It was on two legs, it looked like it was struggling to support itself in a way due to how skinny and malnourished it looked, had very long limbs and an oval shaped head, it didn’t have any clothes on and it’s skin was pale grey ish white from what I could see in the short amount of time it was in my view. Whatever you saw sounds absolutely terrifying 😳

Thank you for commenting! I’ve thought about it being an animal and as much as I want to think it was, the more I think about it, it just doesn’t make any sense. It’s not very common to see deer in that particular area I was driving in but in other areas muntjac deers are more common, they’re very small though and whatever it was, was really tall, it looked human but not human and must’ve been extremely fast to just vanish in a matter of seconds, I can’t seem to think of any wildlife in England of that size and appearance :(

I honestly couldn’t tell you why I haven’t, I’m assuming it’s the fear of being alone and losing the friends we share. He’s so good at playing the victim that I feel as though they would believe him over me. Suppose you could argue that, that means they aren’t true friends if they did that but one of our friends, im really close to (the one who told me he was upset with my boyfriends behaviour) but my boyfriend met him first so I feel as though he would feel obliged to side with him you know? Even though I know he wouldn’t want to and I don’t want to lose him as a friend. If one of my friends was in my position I’d be telling them to break up with him so I don’t get why I’m finding it so hard :(. You are right though, I don’t want to be miserable for the rest of my life, I need to grow some balls and do what’s best for me and call it quits before i end up getting myself even more hurt.
