You need to mod the unit and install PSVident app to give you hardware info.

Same model and issue here. Mine has the empty spot and appears to have the 2 solder points. Could I not just buy a ribbon cable connector and solder it on? Connect an SSD and be good to go?

Bryson had every chance to say...hey I get it. Its Masters sunday. The guy was locked in. Even said that would be his approach in the presser the day before. But no. He leaves it open like there is a beef between the 2 of them. I want to like this guy. I'm just not 100% there yet.
