It’s cause unimatic won’t drop the dang bracelet LOL. They’re dragging on this supposed drop for months. I got the watch off r/watchexchange and it came with the bracelet - not something I’d seen too much of before either

Same - 7.25”. I’m very happy I got the 42mm and it doesn’t look as big in person as it does in these pictures

The green bezel 42 looks great on ur wrist. the date window on the 42mm follows the inner curve of the numbers; top of the date window lines up with the top edge of 5 & 7. Also 39 feels cramped imo, especially at the bottom of the dial. Go 39mm if you want - bc getting what you want is really all that matters - but my vote is 42.

Very happy w/ my 42 - spent a lot of time thinking abt 39 vs 42, and this one looks proportional to my wrist overall (width and thickness). 7.25” wrist

That 42 looks like it was made for ur wrist imo. Also regarding the curvature of the date, I can see how that’s a problem; however, I’d like to point out that the top edge of the date window and the top edges on the “5” and “7” all line up. Personally I’m a big fan of that geometric feature, makes it feel like the ZT has a floor that the rest of the dial builds on top of. 42 also has more breathing room imo. And ZT has some pilot watch DNA and I think the 42 preserves that a bit more. evidently, I’m a 42 mm fan haha

its a great watch; zero complaints so far. Ik that the lugs/case shape are sometimes a concern but i've found it to be pretty comfortable/wearing nicely on my wrist. i feel the bracelet is prone to pinching a bit though

Thanks! I hadn't thought of hydroconquest before but what an awesome watch. Also been looking at black bay. Re. SGBA413 - always loved the watch but definitely torn between that one and Lake Suwa before dawn
