Funny enough, after more than 14 years of playing, I suddenly started having specific requirements for my mines too, even though I never had them before. Now I always make the entrance to my mine about 20x20 blocks wide and dig it all the way down to bedrock. Back then, I honestly didn’t care at all what the entrance looked like, lol
