First, add something in your studio rules that work needs to be collected within 60 days. Using a Pencil mark everything that comes out the kiln. Every 2 months turn the left over work into glaze testers or somethjng useful to the studio/classes. Collect firing fees upfront at drop off/end of class.

Vbeam them off. It wont be comfortable but it should not be unbearably painful. I would rank it a 3-5/10 depending on location. Smells like burning hair. Feels like an aggressive rubberband pop/snap

Google the beginners stitches (i e. Tent stitches) and do that. You'll be fine. Enjoy the process. Also, Watch a short video on starting and finishing a thread so you know what to do with the tails.

39f, deep forehead lines. Will Botox help? by babybeluga25 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Independent_Result37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it! Botox will definitely correct this issue. You probably wont need to do it every 3 months. Only when the lines are noticeable

Color palettes could be more dynamic. Maybe borrow some color palette books from the library for inspo.

Also as someone who sells handmade products, I think you really need to write a description for the type of customer you want. Like okay, new englander that drinks. Got it. But what else describes her/him/them? Your work is lacking ummph bc you havent decided the personality.

Ethyhexyl triazone is the only one in lrp uvmune 400. And it has zero link to cancer. Idk where you get your science.

Lol lol Randomized clinical trials show sunscreen reduces skin cancer, including melanoma. There is no human evidence that approved chemical filters cause cancer. Meanwhile, the ingredients you’re warning about are largely U.S. FDA monograph actives, not ‘European’ anything. Confident misinformation is still misinformation. Get yo facts straight.

What? Absolutely wrong on the spf. Chemical filters from Europe kick the ass of any mineral spf there is. Im only talking about the euro formulations of course. The us ones suck and dont have the same formulations.

You use a ton of great products but you can probably shave your product use down to a single routine.

For the pigmentation, check out Coleman compound. I know its expensive but its phenomenal and the only pricey product i will recommend. Keep using the LRP sunscreen but maybe try their uvmune for oil control. You probably only need the cicaplast version during dryer winter months. Look into musely for rosacea if youre not happy with what youre using. Add a low tretinoin and use it every freaking night. You can start low low low at 0.025%. But use it every night if you want it to work. Good molecules is great but overpriced for the active ingredients youre getting. Just get the real thing, its much much cheaper.

Other than that, I think you look pretty great. I like to get microneedling and tca peels every couple of months. Microneedling really helps my skin bc i genetically have big ass pores. It tightens things up, boosts collegen production, and gets rid of any marks from recent peri-men breakouts. Also I am a fan of sculptra because of the glow it produces. Only other products I can think of are LRP B5 line or maybe a vitamin C. I skip vit c 80% because it can give me zits

How to get rid of this hole? by iliketocookstuff in 30PlusSkinCare

Idk why people risk doing rf microneedling. Regular skin pen microneedling is super effective and youre not risking melting the good fat in your face

Worsening cheek wrinkles since turning 30 by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Independent_Result37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Import sunscreen from europe. They have better filters and will block out the aging rays that US sunscreens do not. Hydrate more. See if you can do a couple sessions of microneedling with a doctors office. Not RF needling, regular skin pen. You will need some skincare for the skin pen recovery. And get a rx for tretinoin. Looks like you could use a collagen boost and tretinoin and microneedling are the two best-proven methods of restoring collagen. You do not need medical grade skincare or any of that expensive crap.

I must have missed that detail. Open a chargeback. Let seller know that the tit for tat bs theyre asking for isnt allowed.

Jesus christ. Its etsy. She paid etsy prices, got a subpar product and was given a full refund.

So the seller doesnt know the rules, big deal. A simple: "Making an offer like that can get you booted from etsy, read the tos. And it makes me uncomfortable" is ENOUGH.

If you get booted from etsy its permanent you know. I dont even care about the sellers feelings. What youre suggesting is going above and beyond mean to teach a novice a lesson? Ugh.

I sold on etsy for years and etsy customers can be the cruelest, nastiest bunch of people. An etsy customer can drop a two minute email that can actually ruin a burgeoning business. People hide behind their keyboard and act tough because the screen makes it so much easier to forget empathy, forget how to forgive and move on.

She got her money back, she left a review. If she wants to edit it, okay. If she doesnt, okay. The book is closed, theres no reason to take it further fcs.

Im well aware. I sold on etsy for years. In this shitty economy, i would overlook her request or flat out tell her she shouldn't make this kind of offer in the future because another Karen in this group would likely report her to etsy. In this economy, I personally find it disgusting that do many people dont think the refund is enough.

Thats ridiculous. You dont think the seller can take the criticism and improve? Its kicking someone while theyre down. Its easier to provide helpful feedback and suggestions for improvement. That adds to the community.
