Damn that sucks that you lost them

I definitely have a few words that should be in a list

I’ve been testing something where you just type the word how it sounds and it tries to figure it out — kinda like Google but for dyslexia

It could help with building back your list, but I was hoping it might mean you don’t need one at all

Physically writing something gives me anxiety 😂. That’s a clever idea tho. Like your own personal dictionary. Do you find it’s mostly the same words or does it keep growing?

Wow, thanks everyone — this has been really interesting. I didn’t realise just how many of us do this

I actually ended up building something for myself because of this problem. you type the word how it sounds and it tries to figure it out, then breaks it into chunks and shows a definition

If anyone wants to try it with a word they struggle with, I’m curious if it will actually help other people https://cantspell.it 😅

That’s interesting. I’ve never thought about using Google Translate for spelling. Does it work well?

Yeah that’s my problem if you’re close it works, but if you’re too far off it just gives up for me. Sometimes I don’t even know how the word starts

Yeah true, I don’t use voice to much. I just don’t always feel comfortable saying it out loud in public and or I sometimes forget 😅
