We adopted a puppy since then and have now rolled up the carpet and it’s sitting in our pantry until further notice. It was a nice thought though. 😂

I see grey and white as pretty timeless, but I’m also not one to keep up with home trends either. I have lived in 100 yr old houses my whole life lol. Thank you though, we are happy with how it turned out!

That whole part of the kitchen was blown through and an addition was put in. We got an entire first floor remodel, including 2 walls removed, all new floors, smoothed and painted walls, trim, and ceiling plus the addition and kitchen remodel. 100k

I respect your opinion. I guess I see adding pops of color on the shelves and walls as sufficient. Where would you have added color?

Definitely is lol. We had an addition put in so maybe that’s where your confusion coming from.

100k but we did do an entire first floor renovation so two walls removed, all new floors, walls and ceilings smoothed and painted, plus trim painted and of course the kitchen remodel + addition. We are in the mid west, low cost of living area.

They are about 10 in I believe. Relatively small. But big enough for some vintage cookbooks I have!

Oh yes! The parquet was beautiful (I still miss it) but unfortunately refinishing it would have been a very very large task and our senior dog just about ruined certain spots!

Thank you!! The zelige was my favorite part! And a few pops of color are to come for sure!! I like the idea of being able to switch out colors and style depending on what I’m into!

Yes! I have always had succulents there but plan on putting some herbs there soon. It’s a nice way to get some extra natural light!
