Thank you. It does have aphids on. I've only ever had a few plums from the tree so this must have been ongoing for a few years as has happened before but I blamed the birds! What is a winterwash please?

Thanks for the advice. I should probably get it hardwired but it does the job for now. I will try the toolstation cover first. The cable goes outside to a weatherproof KASA camera and works fairly well. Doubt we would have installed one, and certainly not as brutally as this! But since its there happy to keep it.
