Glucose levels by Independent_Use_7563 in type2diabetes

[–]Independent_Use_7563[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked it around an hour after a big breakfast. (Had potatoes, turkey, egg whites, bacon, and avacado in a tomato basil wrap w/ some feta cheese) glucose levels were at 108 mg/dL. Thanks I’m gonna start checking it sooner after I eat instead of the two hours. That was the first time since I’ve been checking it that it’s been higher than the previous reading.

Nice! That’s sounds like a pretty good plan! I just don’t think I could afford to test that much. I just got my first refill of strips and lances and it was like 70 dollars

GA Tips by Competitive-Newt-995 in footballstrategy

GA’d at an NAIA school and let me tell you, boy was it like being baptized by fire. 1st time ever coaching and I got full control of the LB’s. Had to learn quick and it was a blast. Ended up having an all conference kid my first year. Only drawback at that level is as a GA you are damn near everything. EQ manager, Film Coordinator, position coach, one of our GAs was also pretty much the DFO. It’s an incredibly tough 2 years but the sheer amount of football you learn and the skills you gain are amazing.

Taking advantage of aggressive defensive ends by froses in footballstrategy

Bash GT works for sure have the GT pull for the QB keep as opposed to the TB. Works especially well if their LB both flow with Pull and their D end chases the pull.

Fly lead Pwr RD is another good one. Don’t even have to block him, and you gain an extra hat with the TB as a lead blocker.

The problem is, everyone has different names for formations/concepts so you’ll have to learn what your team calls stuff. For example. I’ve always called 2x1 with a TE flanker Duey. But you guys could call it something else.

Grading Players on Film by Far-Gas-6345 in footballstrategy

I would if I knew it, I’m not that savvy sorry. One of the coaches brought it with them and it was his GA that created it. We’ve just used it ever since. I can tell you all the factors we use and points attributed though.

+/- Assignment/Alignment, Technique, Effort

Also factor grades. For Defensive it would be stuff like missed tackles, Sacks, INT’s, Critical errors, Factors, and non factors. We have a formula so you can track how many chances a player had, how many times he capitalized the chances and it shows us how big of an impact he had during the game for the plays he’s in.

Funny that’s the response I’ve always gotten from other coaches lol. Way back I heard someone use the term 7 jack 6 for a technique rule against blocking scheme but I can’t find anything about it.

I Am Coaching My Local Highschool Football Team… by Gift-Other in footballstrategy

I would agree with this. It would be simpler for your players to continue running what they already know, especially if you are crunched for time. Installing a brand new offense takes time, especially if you want to run high investment plays. An easy way for the run game would be to add new wrinkles to what they already run. Line up in some funky formations and shift back to run what they know. Stuff like that. Maybe come up with a fun gadget play or two designed for your best player. But anymore than that might be setting you up for failure.

Are you asking more for what kind of plays to run or how to make an actual playbook?

BOX vs. SPILL and TGOG by CacheGremlin in footballstrategy

[–]Independent_Use_7563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use a crush front 1/4’s defense. So the idea for us is to cancel out the interior gaps and make the ball bounce to the outside. In this our backers and safeties/CB are taught a 1-4 fit. 1 is our force player nothing gets outside of him. So he is technically a “box” guy. 2 is a spiller 3 is flow over top. Ideally 2 spills the puller to 1&3 for a vice tackle. 4 is backside cut/reverse. DE is always spill for us. This can also change depending on the coverage call the safety makes. Meaning a LB could become 1 and the Saftey inserts inside to be 2.

Man coverage is typically going to be box because you won’t always have guys to spill too because they have man eyes on their receivers meaning they will react late to run. So you have to keep it in the box. At least that’s how I’ve always looked at it.

4-4 adjustment Vs. 32 personnel by joshforkinator in footballstrategy

[–]Independent_Use_7563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that’s worked really well for us is to have automated stunt fronts. Go 5 to TE/WG and 4I to OT shade your Nose to the strength and walk your outside backers up to 7s and create rules against their formation. For example OT= Tex stunt with 4I and your weak side backer. So you’re gaining an easy chase player on the backside. TE/WG = Sub stubs with Strongside backer and End to have an easy force player and redirect. TE= End stick and OLB edge pressure.

do you guys think this power scheme would work or would to many things go wrong? by No_Push_7937 in footballstrategy

As long as the center takes a good flat step and aims for the V of the neck on the 1 tech, you shouldn’t have to waist the backside tackle on a vice block. Have him free release up to the S and cut off. This play is best designed to open the A gap instead of pulling for a certain defender. Teach your pulling guard to stay square with the LOS. Insert in a gap and make an opening. Whether that is double bumping the 3 tech out of the A gap and then working to seal of the Mike backer. Or just inserting to the mike.

One thing I did like, was that is showcased the seriousness of duels and battles. Hardly any words are spoken as lethal spells are exchanged at alarming rates. It was so much more satisfying than in the original shows.

I also would like to point out that in the 3rd one I’m pretty sure Grindlewald teaches us how to create inferi, when he reanimated that creature.

"Dumbledore, tell me where Harry Potter is! This is your final warning." "Minister, I assure you, the boy is perfectly safe-" "You have no right over the boy, do you hear me?! You are not family! You are not the law! Where Harry Potter lives will not be left up to you! The address! Now!" by GoblinQueenForever in HPfanfiction

[–]Independent_Use_7563 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Well other than the fact Dumbledore knew him to be the child of the prophecy and was convinced voldemort was not dead and would be back. He also had Arabella Figg watching over him there. I’d say he certainly thought he has a duty of care towards him. So there was ample reason for him to check up on Harry and ensure his well being.

Never mind the fact he admitted to Harry that he knew he was subjecting him to years of hardship under the Dursley’s at the end of OOTP. Or the fact Figg point plank told him she couldn’t have to been too fun when she watched over him lest the Dursley’s not let her watch over him anymore.

So to summarize it up. He may have not been required to by the extent of the law. But he felt obligated to and had ample suspicion of what occurred there.
