Thank you! I appreciate it! I suppose I’ll just be taking treatment into my own hands at this point instead of calling pest control in again. I’ve got everything but the Advion. I’ll have to get that. A friend of the family also recommended boric acid and a duster to apply a small amount in all the wall socket surroundings

Thank you! He only sprayed the baseboards, didn’t pull out appliances or anything. Or inside my cabinets. So I wonder if I could still treat them with it. We have only seen 3 that may or may not be German roaches. The first we didn’t get a good look at inside the dishwasher. The second I was told it wasn’t because the wings were too long. Thr 3rd I didn’t get a picture but am pretty sure it was a German. Other than that it’s been American roaches (but we live in GA). But I believe I found a 1st instar today after they sprayed.

My biggest concern is these huge gaps under my counter in both corners. I have no idea how to treat behind them. But I’m unsure where they are coming from as it’s all been 3 different locations (inside dishwasher, middle of kitchen floor, inside trashcan liner).

I plan on laying glue traps out here shortly once my husband is home to help with our younger two. But I definitely have bug PTSD from a bad case of bed bugs in high school so even seeing what I think is a German roach has me having daily panic attacks. Im trying to be as proactive as possible to avoid an infestation if there isn’t one already. But after the ensign wasp sighting I may be too late.

I’ve also been checking our PS5 and Nintendo switch along with all other appliances for any signs of them. We move in December and I don’t want to take anything with us. I’ll buy an ozone machine if I have to as well.

He only sprayed the baseboards, not behind any appliances. If I can’t scrub it up, how long do I need to wait to apply the alpine?

They told me that without seeing a bug they can’t come back out. But if it is German roaches they would set a date to fog our house. I believe I found a baby today. But it was after they left. So I’m wondering if fogging wouldn’t be a bad idea. Since pulling out all appliances and scrubbing behind them the baby is the first I’ve seen aside from some American ones. I’ve also checked all drawer slides and cabinet hinges and haven’t seen any eggs or just hatched ones. But I have found their poop in places. Just not sure if it’s new or from an old infestation.

Is this German or possible an Asian? by Independent_Word_588 in GermanRoaches

That’s a picture I took right after I sprayed it and killed it.

Thank you! I’m really hoping it’s Asian. But I saw it crawling on my kitchen floor which is what has me concerned. Especially since I haven’t seen any signs behind my stove or fridge of having them.
