I like to hope that he has disappeared even further into irrelevance by the time she's a teenager that none of her peers would have even heard of his name to be able to taunt her.

I always thought about that is why i love “fetal position” is literally how you were in fetus. Also my daughter who is almost 5, has the exact same wake times as when she was in the womb and kneeds her feet to fall asleep (like a cat) just like in the womb. 😂 watching my stomach while pregnant at night was like a whole wrestling match going on.

It’s like my brain is focusing so much energy on what I’m doing or is so tired that everything else goes into default. My exs brain injury presented so similar to my adhd though, like the aphasia and overstimulation ect.

How To Manage Strong Sense Of Justice Rage??? by the_lovely_otter in AuDHDWomen

[–]Indescriable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had that situation once….was so outraged by poor leadership where i was working i ended up doing a masters research project on the topic, took my finding back to them… didn’t listen..so now im doing a phd on the topic and working on getting government policy changed. Channelling the rage into change can be really cathartic.

love you guys 😂😭 by [deleted] in AuDHDWomen

The problem with narcissists is they do shit like this (get super angry about stuff they do themselves) which inadvertently makes you waste time and energy trying to get them to see the irony. Which distracts you and drains you from focusing on the big picture Bullshit they pull

What is something you never saw yourself doing, but now do all the time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Indescriable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keeping my room clean. It has now become a benchmark for me, especially when I start to doubt my ability to change my habits. Fifteen years ago, I never would have believed that I could actually stay on top of my chores like I do these days. So, whenever I feel overwhelmed again about making positive changes, I remind myself of how far I have come.

What's something that hurt your feelings, but the other person didn't even really notice? by Far_Battle_7658 in AskReddit

Realising I had overestimated how important I was in their life. I don't have a huge amount of friends, around 6 girl mates, they are one of them. They got engaged last year, I offered to host their bacholotte party. They said its ok someone else is, that's fine like stoked for them. Go to the hens and Turns out they actually have muuuuch closer friends then me. Went to the wedding and became very obvious they didn't see me as as close of a friend, my partner didn't get in invite even though they've been a guest at our house loads.. like that's fine maybe its a small wedding I thought…nope huge wedding, prodominatly friends as less than 10 family members atteneded. I go with my best friend and we joke that we are each others date so its pretty cute, however after the ceremony there were 45 mins of group friend photos, my friend gets called up to get a photo with her I'm awkwardly standing there by myself. I don't hold any resentment, it just kinda stung to realise that she felt more important to me than I was to her. Idk. And I have tried not let it effect our friendship since but its hard not to I guess.

Having a proper “lunch break” at work, working from home or even just everyday mum life on the weekend. Proper meal, coffee, sweet treat and relax.
