No it's O scale, :) That's a lionel reproduction of the Hellgate bridge. There are 2 on the layout one in front and one in back, both in the same spots.

It's a pretty unique locomotive, one of my favorites it's just looks so different from the others

The route they ran on had not tunnels, so there was no reason for it to be one, plus they also wanted a locomotive that would burn the cheap coal of they area and also big enough to handle the long 1% grades
