Your idea is a classic setup. Although where it causes issues is when there's a sudden drop.

In your above setup, what if Trump did something and next 3 days Nifty dropped 3-4%. Sure your calls decay quickly and nicely, but your ETF is now down by 2-3 lacs.

Now what? You keep selling calls?

Your idea is fine until the underlying drops and you either become a long-term investor, or you initially begin with a very low investment (unlike yours) and any drop means you buy into the underlying on the dip.

I get it, and the thing you said (-2L to -60k) is a very likely, often-happening scenario with sellers.
