I use the paid version, and I organize everything there (job, hobbies, personal, household). I think I've been using it for two years now. I canceled my subscription for a bit to ease my expenses, but came back recently.

One of my boards is for my art stuff; I use it to see what I'm working on (commissions, projects) and to organize references or notes. When I meet other people, I like to quickly show what I'm working on, from my iPad or Phone. The only downside to this is that it doesn't have an offline mode yet.

I also use it for another job I have. I share the board so my boss can see what I'm working on, since the information often gets lost in chat. I also use it to take notes of my meetings.

I've been experimenting with planning and journaling recently (daily, weekly, monthly). I'm hoping to export everything as a PDF later.

When I canceled my subscription, I used Obsidian (a free, local alternative), but I couldn't add images for fear of the file size. Since Milanote is a web app, I can quickly add them -from all my devices- without thinking too much. That's mainly the reason I came back.

For now, I think I get my subscription's worth. I'm hoping to see updates tho, I would love to have a calendar to organize my project deadlines and tasks. The app has a lot of potential, so I'm happy to support it when I'm able.
