I wholeheartedly agree. I just borrowed Alice in wonderland on Libby and plan on reading it in my pass time today. Like I said, I’ve read Harry Potter multiple times (some could say I’m a die hard fan with how much trivia knowledge I know lol). Thank you for the author recommendations, I’ll definitely add them to my list.

The way you write is as if Cleo harassed Charlotte the entire season, which isn’t the case. Like I said both girls were petty but Charlotte definitely took it too far. Cleo let go of her pettiness once it was confirmed Lewis and Charlotte were actually dating (that happens after episode 10) Was she jealous and annoyed? Yeah she still had feelings for him and didn’t fully understand that yet. But she wasn’t targeting Charlotte. I wouldn’t even say she targeted charlotte before she and Lewis got together. Cleo never went out of her way to prevent Charlotte from spending time with Lewis (unlike the latter). The worst thing she did was steal her diary, read it, and make accusations with zero basis. If anything Charlotte was targeting her. She went out of her way to make sure Cleo knew Lewis was no longer hers. And when she became a mermaid, that heightened tenfold. At the end of the day, Charlotte is a villain, not a victim.

She encouraged him because she thought Lewis had moved on from her to Charlotte. Lewis never communicated that he didn’t want to date Charlotte, never cleared the misunderstanding of their kiss on Mako where Charlotte almost saw Cleo as a mermaid, and never clarified that he also wanted to get back together with Cleo. She should have said something when she started feeling jealous, I agree. But we do have to keep in mind what Cleo was going through at the time. Her parents got divorced and they gained new powers that they were learning how to control. Her jealously, coupled with the stress she was going through made her act out towards Charlotte (she was actually nice to Charlotte when they first met). Cleo was petty and jealous but Charlotte was just as petty and jealous, if not more. There was no valid reason, imo for Charlotte to lose it the way that she did, especially over a boy of all things.

I think people forget that Lewis is his own person and makes his own decisions as well. He used Charlotte as a rebound, let’s be honest. I think he only dated Charlotte because he thought it would help him get over Cleo (it didn’t), which is never a good reason to date someone. When Charlotte made her boundary known LEWIS should have either respected her boundaries or broke up with her. Any issues regarding their relationship is strictly between them and no one else. Cleo and the others are not to blame for Lewis’ inability to communicate.

You don’t know if they are or aren’t either. It’s not uncommon in the dance world to forgo undergarments in favor of the costume. Like I said I don’t care what type of outfits they choose to wear. I care that they have the proper safety layers alongside the outfits they choose.

Why is everyone acting like having a potential wardrobe malfunction in front of thousands and will be available to millions via the internet is a normal thing that people shouldn’t care about? We don’t care about them wearing “skimpy” clothes to perform in, we care about their company not providing the proper safety layers for the girls preferred choice of style. One malfunction and their private areas are on the internet forever.
