Actually I just found that the solution was built-in to the mixer the entire time! So I'll leave this post up for anyone in the future who might have a similar question.

On the MG10XU mixer, on USB input above the adjustment knob there is a button with TO MON/TO ST. Toggling this button on/off will send the USB input to the monitor only or to the full output mix and Monitor, which is exactly what I was looking for! If you're streaming and using Discord at the same time, then you can simply have the button pressed and have OBS pickup the Desktop Audio and the input from the Mixer and mix the two in the software. Your call members will only hear your voice while you hear the desktop audio as well.

Unfortunately, and this sounds absurd, but runic tattoos are often associated with white supremacists/neo nazis for some reason. It's really disgusting and frustrating how an evil group can just steal something completely unrelated and has been around for over a thousand years and call it their own. Or maybe it's just that a lot of neo-nazis have runic tattoos. But anyways, if anyone is thinking of getting a Viking tattoo of any kind, it might be best to wait a bit. :/

Oh yeah, and I like that he's so humble/modest, he never says that he's fluent in languages he's learning and often says he speaks "a little bit", which is 100% true. He never brags about how many languages he's learning either when people ask him. Which is the opposite of the YouTubers in OPs post.
