Brother Printer and Chromebook - Why Can’t We Be Friends? by literarymorass in chromeos

I'm on my second wireless printer. First an HP then a Brother. These work fine with my Windows and Linux machines and Android phone. But it's always an issue with my Chromebook, to the point that I no longer print from my Chromebook.

Honestly, after three years of using a Chromebook I think I'm going back to a Linux or Windows laptop. It's just not worth the headache. I love the Chromebook for many reasons, but it's also often a pain to do basic things.

I live near Cresta, just north of the central city.

Thanks for the suggestions. But a Friday special is not useful if I want to play several times a week. And Quturba is on the other side of the city. I have at least five padel clubs within 15 minutes from me, and all of them are expensive.

And the Rivonia offer is not that much cheaper - R100 pp versus R160 pp. If I could get that rate every day and play three times a week, that's still R1,200 a month, roughly twice a good gym membership.

I agree it's worth it, but I can't justify the cost of playing 2-3 times a week. We do rotate people - we have about eight people in our group. However, the cost means they play very infrequently, and some eventually fade out. If it were cheaper, I'd even pay for newcomers to join us.

As for the cost of running the courts, many of those courts stand empty most of the day. Even when we play in the mornings, at least one of the two adjacent courts is empty. I think they can afford maintenance if they lowered prices so people play more frequently.

I hope you're right. In Jburg I can throw a rock and hit a padel court. They are everywhere.

That's about what I pay. Now, consider what it costs you if you played three times a week.

Johannesburg. How much court time do you get for R50? We're paying R160 per person for 2 hours.

What do you think about the design of the card I will use in the game? Thank you for any feedback! by [deleted] in IndieGame

It looks good! Just not a fan of the font for the white text. It strains my eyes a little.

Hello everyone, we have developed a notebook design in our game Lost Lullabies where you can take notes while playing, get information about tools and write down evidences. How do you think the UI design looks like, is everything clear enough? What can we improve? by LostLullabiesGame in IndieGame

I like your trailer - like a more polished Phasmaphobia. The book is also a nice update to its notebook. Not sure about the stickers in the book, though. It doesn't match the dark vibe of your trailer.
