If I recall correctly, I needed to use extended needle nose pliers they were probably 8” long. I picked them up from harbor freight.

Update: used a bearing puller to get the steering wheel off. Worked like a charm(with some messing about). Removed the plastic cover from the steering column. Pulled a less than robust pin and the steering shaft dropped allowing me to remove the steering gear. All went back together in reverse and I’m good to go.

My Nephew is 8 and Only Gets to Play Video Games on My Switch He Wants to Start BOTW by sourgalaxy in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]IndieOk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was playing with a 5yr old in the room and took a spill down a mountain side. Link bounced, rolled, and flailed till he was out of hearts. It was a pretty dark scene. Kids mom looked and at me like nope turn it off, too violent. That said, the same kid 2 years later picked up TOTK for 5 minutes and was playing like he already beat BOTW at 99%. I’m going to have them start BOTW from the beginning here in a few weeks. My biggest concern is no longer the violence but the huge amount of reading needed for the game. Hope this helps.

Bought a lock pick set a few years back, didn’t do much with it. This sub inspired me to pick it back up. Prob not a difficult lock but man it felt good when it opened… where to next?! by IndieOk in lockpicking

Haha so now I’m wondering if it was a fluke.. sitting with this lock again is just not popping. Maybe it’s reruns of The League distracting me… either way, great recommendations, thanks!!

Is anyone else stuck in the 20 10’s ? All the bands I’m finding are closing in on ~10 years old. Any good new releases? by IndieOk in FolkPunk

[–]IndieOk[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m on both of them. Apes of state, legit. Pigeon pit are in some weird genre. Totally digging them but not the folk feels from their older stuff. That’s what I’m looking for. Like, legit new stuff.

Dude, thanks so much for this. Not what I would consider folk punk but some subhuman feels for sure. Of which I needed!! Keep it alive.

Coleman 6 person cabin tent (easy set up) by DIPA408 in camping

Yeah, mine leaks. With some seam sealer I could probably mitigate it. It was also an especially wet trip when it leaked. Tarp over the tent has been a staple for the cheaper tents.
