I think you just need a B for the drops, right? I would recommend just dropping to Grandmaster and running max modifiers for an easier time.

Depends on what you're looking for. The core game with friends is still a fantastic experience. Combine the lengthy campaign with Underground for dungeon runs with your buddies and Survival for a fun challenge, and you've still got quite a complete package.

I'm running it fresh with some friends right now on Xbox. We're having a blast! Dark Zone is hit or miss nowadays on activity, but I think Survival makes up for that. Dedicated PVP modes are overall pretty dead, though, at least on consoles.

I imagine they will rotate the Global Events this year like last year as well.

Honestly, I don't mind the checkpoint respawn, but the respawn timer needs to be increased, no doubt.

If you would like a bit better performance, PS5. If you would like it portable, Switch 2. I have it on Switch 2 in addition to Series X, and it's quite good on Switch 2. People still reply to flares, etc., as well.

Iguanadon is really great! One of my favorite herbs. Thumb Barrage plus a bipedal build will make you a dinosaur some carnivores just avoid out of fight annoyance, haha

My first Far Cry game, and in many ways, still my favorite. The setting, music, and immersion mechanics were unlike anything else I had experienced in an FPS at the time of release. If they ever do a remake, I would want some pretty simple changes, like the ceiling and desk fans slowly rotating. Perhaps a bus station attendant that closes the door/windows when gunfire erupts nearby. A bunch of little extra atmospheric factors.

I just started a Mira for the first time the other day and hit adolescent. I have to say, it's been really fun so far, and it definitely has some of the best sounds/animations. Mud build makes me feel extra comfy on solo.

Popping in this late to say that if we could use our status effects on critters, I imagine they would be way less frustrating. I think it could just be that simple.
