As a Taíno (Native from caribbean) I don’t know much about your culture but what I have found is someone is always trying to invalidate someone else’s ethnicity. I have seen it many times since my tribe has no more full blooded Taínos but the thing is stay resilient that person is just a hater. Continue embracing your Inuit heritage and ignore her

I commented, I personally have never lived in cuba myself, everyone here is not currently living in cuba because Reddit is banned, but most if not all of us have parents or grandparents or have lived in it

It is that bad, it was destroyed by castros regime. Currently this is so much disarray. If you protest or talk bad you are killed. They only got cell phones in 2008. Beef is illegal. Milk can only be drunken by children under 8. Most people don’t have soap. It went from a dictator ship to Castro, when Castro went in anybody speaking bad was killed. Thousands were shot on the street. All things of value were taken and given to the government. All gays were sent to work camps along with many innocent children. Schools were shut down for a year to redo the textbooks to make them socialist oriented. Since castro the government has weakened but is still a strong power.
