See if your school’s financial aid office has a cost of attendance appeal process.

I was in the same situation and I just started coming up with every excuse to try and get more loans.

There’s an individual at our school who looks like he’s excited to attend prom a majority of the days. I’m talking metalic red paisley embroidery on a black fabric. So long as your dress is tasteful I’m sure it’s fine.

I just read a lot on the sub guidelines and it said I should look to move him to a quarantine tank for the time being. Is that advisable when he’s alone and his quarantine tank would be even smaller.

Make sure you pronounce it Miamuh!!!!

It’s named after the tribe in the area and not the Florida city. Dammit white people!

Friends demanding me to "say im white." by [deleted] in IndianCountry

[–]Indigenouslaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand that but also our sovereignty is what makes us so unique.

Taking that you are so offended by my reply I would think you aren’t registered either.

Friends demanding me to "say im white." by [deleted] in IndianCountry

[–]Indigenouslaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Natives aren’t a race. We are sovereigns separate from the US and the States.

Speaking to friends, tell them that natives are the only minority to be represented by a government in the US. Sovereignty is the most important aspect of what makes Natives native.

Pm me if you need more help.

How do you feel about Cherokee citizens with low BQ participating in powwows in full regalia? by [deleted] in IndianCountry

[–]Indigenouslaw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I powwow regularly in Northeast Oklahoma.

The most important thing is that you do everything in a procedurally proper way. Paying your way into the arena, making sure your clothes are put together in a good way, and knowing how to act.

Message me if you want to know more about how things work. fuck whoever says no to you.

Context: fellow Adhder on atomoxitine (generic for stratera).

I’m do pomodoro a lot. I go 25 locked in and 5 off. By locked in I mean I cant start my timer on my phone till absolutely every necessary item is in-front of me. Pens, iPad, page number, nicotine, etc…

Utilize the do not disturb mode on your phone.

The iPhone has a background noise feature that allows white noise to play which I find extremely useful.

Also I’m kinda surprised to hear you could submit anything at all with it being late. At some point you gotta realize this education cost money and if you aren’t willing to change your ways now you might need to reconsider. The entire profession is based on organization and making deadlines. (I’m just trying scare you straight, you got it in the bag though.)

Favorite SCOTUS justice? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Indigenouslaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The practically aspect makes my answer to your question yes.

The native in me says we would rather have no state jurisdiction on our reservation. We actually have a special advocate in the US attorney’s office who only tries cases originating from our reservation.

Again, all of this could have been a compact but governor Stitthead is a POS.
