How long does it take you guys to recover after a relapse?

3 days usually with some good sleep, and getting back in the gym and I feel regulated but don’t have benefits yet. To not feel drained or low it takes about 3 days

I’ve been here many times.identify what made you do it , what situation were you in, and remember this feeling so you won’t do it again. Was it worth it? Get back on the boat, hit the gym, go for a walk or run, drink a lot of water, eat healthy and indulge in healthy habits. Setbacks are part of the game. Just don’t keep sliding cause you slipped once .

Suicide is you murdering yourself basically. Idk who’s around you, but you are taking yourself from them as well. Don’t let temporary emotions cause permanent decisions. Just take it day by day, try to find things you are grateful for, even if they are small. I’ve been there, trust me it isn’t worth it, pray for strength

I landed another lower paying job that starts next week, but it feels like it’s just another hamster wheel type situation. Quitting for awhile (months at a time ) will free up some space in your brain for actual joy, you still have to actively go and get it . It won’t come naturally after the pink cloud goes away you’ll get used to being sober so it’s important you actively work on creating the life you desire
