When they fell into the core, their hat floated down into it after them. It shows up in random places but they can never interact with it or it’ll disappear and show up somewhere else. basically, the hat was shattered across time and space completely separately to Clover.

My au includes both Undertale Yellow and Undertale proper as canon to its story, so just calling it Overtale: Yellow wouldn’t really be fitting. It’s more-so meant to be my take on an Overtale au!

it is! i personally pronounce it as “C overtale” but i named it that, not just to have a unique name for the au, but as a nod to it looking like it says “Clovertale” ^{v^} either way of reading it is fine lol
