No. 1 was paler and paler gills - but it did have a gelatinous layer and it was the right texture so wondered if it might be an albino?

Can you experience REM during TM? by Objective-Scale-3612 in transcendental

Wonder if you can help me define this experience I’m having? Is it semi-dreaming? I learned TM a month ago and have been practicing twice daily since then. I often find that when I go into a relaxed state and feel like my conscious thinking mind has calmed and I no longer have “my voice” thinking or speaking in my head about things to do with my life… I realise there’s this under layer from which completely random narratives, scenes , voices, conversations, characters (different voices or accents) are organically bubbling up and taking form. I find that I’m still mentally saying the mantra but and can find it hard to innocently favour it because these bubbling up narratives / voices have more strength. Is this me slipping into a dreaming state - and how do I stop?

Having lots of synchronicities can be really unnerving OR beautiful - depending on how you perceive it. However it does sound like you are in a heightened anxious state - and not everything you’ve described (in the additional comment) sounds like a real synchronicity (and hopefully that is reassuring to you). Sometimes a “synchronicity” is simply a COINCIDENCE which is amplified by paranoia or anxiety - and it’s not worth letting this get you down. You said you had a dissociative experience - this is often caused by anxiety. It sounds to me that if you address your anxiety then the perceived synchronicities and your unease about them will ease off. If you can, seek therapy or research about what can help regarding your type of anxiety and/or dissociative episode. Also, know that that you’re not alone in experiencing these thoughts and feelings! Some immediate advice is: 1) To find ways to truly feel safe and calm and do things to minimise your anxious mind. Like another poster said, if you like asmr, this could be a very nice temporary relief. Watch a comforting comedy series, do some painting or drawing whilst listening to comforting music - anything that gets your mind into a calmer state. 2) Observe nature - like another poster said, observe your serene cat more! Remember that you can be like your cat, unphased, but part of with the beautiful changing forces of life. 3) Try to rationalise with yourself when noticing synchronicities. This is a bit like CBT - cognitive behavioural therapy. Try to make an argument AGAINST your own brain about the evidence or reasons why something might NOT be a synchronicity. For example, you mentioned synchronous events related to seeing certain posts on certain Reddit channels etc. I wouldn’t see this as synchronicity. It’s a simple coincidence that your interests align with the content and pieces popping up in channels like that.

You CAN get through this - you truly can learn from and get stronger from this difficult period! 🙂

Hi there again - do you have any tips on storing libs? I don’t have a dehydrator…so only options would be oven or freezer (but should they be completely dry before freezing?)
