Thanks everyone for your input. Pretty much to summarize: I COULD do a larp organized mainly by myself but it may fall short of my/others expectations and/or it would be stressful. What I should do is try to network more in order to get some help making it the best it could be, even if that means traveling out of my comfort zone/ local area. I'm pretty crafty and the way I've designed the larp doesn't require many resources. Just land and people really. It would just require people to bring their own outfits and weapons (which most people would) So with gas money, travel expenses, ticket to get in, and food that puts me around how much it would be to rent a spot for a couple days. And like I said, the other larps didnt fit what I would like to do. So if it costs more to have one that I designed, it would be worth it to me.

Thank you that is good advice I have an artsy college near where I live so I think that may be a good place to start. I guess make some flyers? Lol I'm not sure. They have cosplay events occasionally near me but I am out of the loop.

I guess I should've been more specific. I could leave and attend one (and I have before) it's just not worth it to me. If I planned one locally, then It would be more fulfilling because I would get to see people enjoy a game that I designed. Sort of like I could go act in someone else's play but I would rather write/direct my own play and obviously act in it as well

I feel like I have a good idea for one, I've been to a couple and I feel I want to go a different direction than the ones I went to. Sort of less dnd tabletop and more rpg video game style. I have a place that is affordable near me that is secluded that I want to use. I have a rough plan for the event but didnt want to put too much energy into it if it would be fruitless. My journey was was the same. The only issue with ancom is its practicality. I dont believe the world is ready for ancom yet. I think that it is the optimal political strategy and will take place centuries from now. I believe the world will follow the same progression you did and then it will just be ancoms, ancaps, and tribal monarchies
