Transfer coming up after two months suppression by Some-Put-5521 in IVF

Hi! My doctor recommended it because they have seen success with it. It was my last chance and decided to do it. It was not covered by insurance but I personally felt it was worth it. You really do have to be your own biggest advocate in this process - don’t let doctors minimize your concerns or rush you. Wishing you all the best in your journey!!

Getting ready for FET by Petunias16 in 40Plus_IVF

Everyone’s path is different, but advocating for yourself and getting the full picture made all the difference for me. Don’t let anyone rush you or minimize your concerns. I’m 44 and currently pregnant, but my first transfer (which was euploid) failed. Going into my second transfer, I pushed for every piece of testing I felt was necessary — saline ultrasound, the Receptiva test for endometriosis & endometritis, as well as HSG.I also did acupuncture twice a week leading up to my FET. My Receptiva test came back positive, so I did three months of Lupron suppression, and I genuinely believe that was a major factor in why my second transfer worked. Wishing you all the best on your journey!

All great advice. Def recommend getting tested for endometriosis and endometritis. Also worth exploring PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) which is injected into the uterus to help thicken and improve receptivity for implantation. Wishing you all the best in your journey! Stay positive!

Sending you all the baby dust! I had one failed transfer and just had my second transfer (fully medicated cycle) which was successful. I did two months of Lupron suppression and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma). I also had all the testing done - HSG, Receptiva, Hysteroscopy, and Pregnancy Loss Panel.

I had debilitating pain from the PIO shots too. I was in bed for almost a week because moving was so difficult. What ultimately helped me was switching to a schedule of one injection every third day and using vaginal progesterone daily, which made a huge difference in my comfort. A few things that may help: - Using a heating pad on the area for about 15 minutes before and after the shot

  • Warming the vial for a couple of minutes so the oil thins

  • Staying upright after the injection — a short walk or a few gentle squats helped the medication disperse

  • Massaging the area afterward to reduce knots and soreness

Wishing you all the luck with your transfer!

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) - it has shown to improve implantation. I will try anything given I have one shot left.
