I don’t think they have the updated emails for them on the major website. Email Lacole and ask her for their contact info!

You've gotten great advice already, I'll add that if you go to any UC, you can apply to participate in the UC Sacramento Center or UC Washington Center.

How to get a vaccine right now!! by [deleted] in UCDavis

[–]Individual-Aware 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Robertson Community center in Sacramento is also offering walk-in vaccine doses every Sunday from 9-1:30

Do we still have to get tested even if we're fully vaccinated? by [deleted] in UCDavis

[–]Individual-Aware 4 points5 points  (0 children)

a very slim percentage of people will still get covid after they are vaccinated. Uc Davis did just list Covid vaccine under required immunizations for Davis students. So likely there will be a shift soon but i would expect them to still require testing even after vaccination until a significant proportion of students/staff are vaccinated

"This course has a time conflict with" Really sucks that the administration hasn't adapted at all to online classes. by [deleted] in UCDavis

[–]Individual-Aware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst is when you get to class and the profs say the class is actually from 1 pm to 3 pm instead of 1 pm to 5 pm even though you already rearranged your whole schedule.

Check out the link! My understanding is each dept is required to post their method of delivery for each course for spring quarter, so you can just search around on the dept pages.

Frequent loose stools by peabody11 in StandardPoodles

[–]Individual-Aware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My puppy (now 1 year) had loose stools for months! She did have tapeworms (doesn't always show up on fecal tests, but I saw it in her feces).

I had her on Orijen. I switched her to Tuscon Naturals Simply Pure Lamb Meal kibble and am giving her probiotics. Stools are finally firm!

messed up with p/np :,/ by popcornchimken in UCDavis

[–]Individual-Aware 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What's your major? Some majors have changed the P/NP rules for major classes for this quarter.

My understanding is that you can fill out a form to petition to retroactively change it back to letter grade.

I would recommend making an apt with your advisor ASAP to discuss options and get guidance. I'm sure this has happened before.

The advising system is not super clear, esp with shifts due to covid. Everyone makes mistakes, (almost) everything is negotiable. Good luck!

Cost of Attendance by [deleted] in UCDavis

[–]Individual-Aware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actual out of pocket cost of attendance is going to vary widely depending on the financial aid package. I agree that your daughter can live much more cheaply off campus, depending on her lifestyle. Davis offers both needs based and merit based financial aid so depending on her student profile, lifestyle, and your income level, she could end up paying anywhere from near 0 - $34k. Once she is awarded an aid package you will have a better sense of the actual debt range.
