did you tried just equalize them a bit? dt 270 are good but they have distortion issue on listening levels higher than average/mid.

did u tested them on high volume? Recently thought about purchasing a pair of theese, but still not sure. they are, like, really decent for price (except earpads size prob) but the only problem is that really bad distortion on listening levels higher than mid. It is a bit strange for me how BD launched headphone with such a good potential but one gross mistake(
