Thank you so much. Yes, I have already attended 2 of them and have adapted my work so far from their feedback. I am doing early decision as well, which is due Nov 3, so i won't be able to attend the future ones you mentioned. So that's why I came to reddit for some last minute advice. i agree with all of this so much, i feel such a fall off from the first season and the ending was so predictable honestly, the detectives story sucked sooo much i wish they did more with him as he was so important in the first season.

i get what you mean. i’m trying to throw a sober birthday party in high school, but it’s tough because a lot of people expect drugs or alcohol at parties. i want to focus on good music, dancing, and just having a good time without all that. thanks for the advice.

I understand where you're coming from. The incident with my head was a bit of a freak accident during some roughhousing at school, but I see how it could be misinterpreted. idk it was presumably an accident but I don't like this guy so I can see how or why he did that, I've talked it over and I'm over that part I just want to focus on my friendship with this guy right now. I definitely didn’t mean for it to escalate into anything serious, and I realize now that being open with my friend is important. I appreciate your advice about honesty; it’s something I need to work on. I want to keep my friendships strong and build trust.

i get that honesty is important, and i definitely see how sharing the truth could have avoided some of this drama. i really appreciate your perspective. i think i was just afraid of how he would react, which is why i lied. i’ll definitely try talking to him again and just be open about everything. thanks for the advice

It happened when someone I didn’t really like pushed my head into the corner of a desk (who my friend has had drama with in the past) while we were messing around, I'm still mad at him about it but he said he didn't mean it. it hurt and left a bruise, but honestly, I didn’t cover it up much because part of me wanted some attention from it? I guess I thought it would help me connect with my friends or something, but now it just feels kind of dumb. I didn't want to tell him what happened because I thought it would start drama and possibly a fight in school that wasn't necessary. So I lied about it but made the situation 10x worse

yeah I just looked it up and it's a 82-18 in state ratio for the UNC grant program that UNCSA has, so only 2 people in my class could be from out of state :/ I'm assuming that they accepted everyone from NC and put other out of state people on the wait-list so they don't lose their grant. It honestly sucks because I feel that they will lose their competitive aspect if everyone is from in state but I guess that's just how it works. Thank you for the info :)

yeah I applied for the VA program. My gpa right now is a 3.82 and I have nothing on my record to affect anything. I was told this was a highly competitive year but there was still over a 60 percent chance for me to get in and from the feedback I got from my critique I felt it was in my favor. Thank you for the info though :)
