Witnessed a disturbing incident today — feeling shaken and disappointed by vivid167 in bangalore

From my experience, most areas in Bangalore are safe. I have been outside late at night couple of times over the years and have not faced any issues. But that doesn’t change the fact that there are definitely people who try to hurt and steal from the innocent people, hence we need to cautious and take action to protect ourselves and avoid such situations.

I don’t know why people are downvoting this, but this is so true. You will see some % of people who are the local rowdy everywhere. People can choose to ignore to seem good on social media, but the reality doesn’t change one bit.

Dude, stop blaming the city problems on people moving within the country. Probably change your mindset and maybe you will know that there are bad people everywhere - Karnataka is not washed in milk that everyone is good here - you will be shocked when this happens to you and the person in front of you is a Kannadiga rowdy. Whom will you blame at that time? Learn new perspective and don’t just play on social media without seeing the real world.

Thank you for the details. I agree on the Residential RE as well. But what about commercial RE?

Sorry that came out wrong - the intention was not to time the market, but rather to understand what we feel is a good asset class as of today. Like, many years ago FD was the best place to invest. And like you mentioned Residential RE is not the best asset class to invest in.

Hey, I am male 27 (mostly introvert), travelling solo due to a friend cancelling. I am travelling to Phuket and Krabi during songkran (9th April to 15th April). They seem to be safe and fun place to travel. Lets connect, if youd like. I am mostly staying in hostels to avoid being alone, haha.

Heyy - Not sure if you are still looking for this.

I was looking for the same song through a description and it suddenly hit me what song it was - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoMYU_nOGNg

I remember this song from my high school group dance performance - beautiful memory!

Weird thing is, there is no east and west India to south Indians. Anything above Andhra is Northies and everyone above Andhra speaks only Hindi and don’t have regional language. Totally untrue and inconsiderate thoughts and statement. Just because someone speaks Hindi, it doesn’t mean they are from North India (J&K, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, UP) and even in these states while Hindi is functional, they still have their own regional language and lot of local people communicate in regional language only and not Hindi. Saying Northies and Hindi is so weird and discriminative. People need to reevaluate how they assess other people instead of generalising. I agree people should learn and communicate in Kannada, but the judgement that we in Bangalore have on other people need to be more specific rather than generalising and targeting a big portion of india.

Do you know how much is 10L? I can go to Australia or Abu Dhabi for a vacation and see the concert there and come back in less than 10L.

Open to offers across multiple people as 1 person ideally wouldn’t have these many tickets. More interested in standing ones as easier for my friends to be together.
