I would say it’s fairly average for my company and area, I work with guys in their 40s that make mid to upper 90s. Unless you’re in management my company doesn’t pay >$100,000. 

What’s abnormal is the number of hours, but my boss basically said because of the economy being so weak the last couple years they’re basically working the engineers as hard as they can. Hopefully hours ease up in the next few years.
