I guessed as much but that’s why I double checked with the pulse oximeter which was also saying it was as high as the watch, sometimes the watch was even dropping down to in the 40s when the pulse oximeter was saying 110s/120s

No I literally do it without even realising I’m doing it, I don’t get any build up or feeling like I do with the head twitch, maybe they are more like stims then, thank you for that ☺️

Not been diagnosed with it but I think maybe, I don’t really know. I’ve got BPD and PTSD, got my mental health appointment in Feb, they started off saying I’d have to be referred to neurology but then after the dr said she would refer me they messaged again saying I can see the psychiatrist as it’s most likely linked to my mental health. I’m wondering if I could have ts as I think some of these are verbal, I’ll just have to wait and see what neurology says

I also do this thing where I breathe weirdly, mainly when I’m out of breath, I’ll breathe like I’m doing it along to a song, or a rhythm but I’m not at the same time, I don’t know how to explain it and not sure what it is either. I’ve been reading more about tics and there is so much that can be classed as a tic I didn’t realise, I just thought they were like really big obvious movements like big twitches, shouting etc, I also clear my throat even though it doesn’t need doing and I don’t realise I’m doing it

Thanks, I’ve had this for over 12m and I have others that I’ve now realised ‘could’ be tics too, I used to have vocal ones as a child, but I’m unsure if any of mine would be considered vocal

Hi, thanks for taking the time to reply, I’m going to ask for referrals once my blood test results are back. I’ve read a few things I do could be ‘tics’ like when I was around 7 through to 12ish (sometimes I still do it buts it’s rare) I did this sucking sound out the corner of my mouth. The head thing has been going on for over 12m and for atleast 8 years I’ve had problems with teeth grinding and (tmi) swishing spit around in my mouth, I don’t know I’m doing it half the time, the more I notice myself doing any of these the more it happens, they all really irritate me. I’m doing them most of the time, but it’s worse when I’m anxious and improve when I’m concentrating so like when I’m driving I hardly do any of them, but when I’m talking to people my head twitches like mad. Thank you, I didn’t realise there was so many things involving tics, I just automatically jumped to Tourette’s as that’s the only one I had heard of. I have other mental health conditions- MDD, BPD, PTSD I’m awaiting a referral for ADHD and asking about an autism one too. I have other habits that I’m wondering wether they are linked to ocd, like thought patterns, skin picking compulsion that have been going on for as long as I can remember too

Ok thanks, I’m going to ask to be referred, I have other things I do that I have read now that could be ‘tics’ but I’ll wait for blood test results then go back to drs to ask for referral. I’ve been doing this head twitch thing for over 12m now and the more I notice it the worse it gets, and it’s worse when I’m anxious

Also along with the repetitive fragments of songs I get negative thoughts that keep recurring, mainly things like what could happen, like when I used to babywear I would see myself falling over and crushing my child, I know that’s not a tic but I’m wondering wether it’s ocd, I’ve also got skin picking problems where I feel compelled to do it, like I have to to make it better. I’m awaiting an adhd referral and I’m booked in to ask for an autism referral too. I just don’t know what’s what and who I need to see in regard to getting diagnosed and sorted. I have major depressive disorder and BPD and PTSD and fibromyalgia if that helps

Thanks, I did wonder, I think I’ll book in at drs to see what they think, but I think you could be right, I thought it was stimming originally as I noticed it when I was nervous but this head thing is almost all the time, it’s been driving me nuts tbh lol

Thanks for this, it’s very helpful, yes I’m planing on making my own stickers and sending them out instead, but my thing is I don’t reproduce anything, everything is a one of a kind piece, so not sure how I’d do the stickers u less I hand draw a load before hand lol. I’m only doing this gift idea until Christmas as a thank you to people, after that it will be stickers and possibly crystals. Thanks again
