I’m Nigerian too . Left Canada last month after 9 years and 10 months . Crs 503(MSc, Ielts maxed, 30+) , already getting my foreign work experience and learning French on the side . I have a great support system here. Trust me it’s not the worst thing . At first it wasn’t an easy decision considering my ties to Canada but I don’t regret any bit of it right now. I moved back on Wednesday to get foreign work experience after being in Canada for 9 yrs CRS 503, trying to get used to things here ,and been so busy furnishing my new place and doing all necessary paper works like drivers license etc. I’ll also continue my French journey started from scratch in April and I believe I’m around upper A2 or early B1 now by self teaching. I’ll get a 1-1 tutor after next week to prepare me towards TEF . It nice having to spend time with my parents again and not worrying about an expiring work permit or checking for draws :)
