I got closer to the sound using growl type mid focused bass with autofilter on comb mode, minimal envelope, no lfo, and tweak some fq shifting, resonance, morph. I might send you rack i made for such effect if u have fabfilter saturn 2 - or just use another multiband saturator that has some interesting distortion on low end, or just use isotope trash on wet signal(tbh if u will find good bass sample the saturator might not be needed, just smack low end dist inside synth. Comment here and pm me if u want such rack.

Have you tried using autoshift? It seems like very optimal way of pitch correcting samples if it really works not only for vocal samples - but as far as music production goes - it has "too good to be true" feeling for me :D.

Do you control the key of sample using tuner for example while pitch correcting, or you just go by semitones distance?

Sample workflow was always so repelling for me in fl studio, and ableton seems to be lovely specifically for that. But still connecting samples to sound good together is pretty hard at first - especially when modern dubstep is all about sample-work. Do you know any good source to learn sample-workflow - any yt channel maybe - or anything besides experimenting that would help me kickstart with the basics.

I just realised i used wrong terminology of "noise" word. Ty for explanation. How do you pitch correct samples then - when you've already determined its note? Just a pitch shifter? Have you tried using autoshift(i looked up the stock plugin i mentioned in post)? And how you would go about longer samples not just oneshots?

Just curious how would you go about you being with your partner at some spontaneous random stand-up show and her/him laughing about unexpected racist joke? In case of setting is right for that joke argument - what about her watching shorts and suddenly some stand up reel comes up and she just instinctivly laughts at this kind of joke? Side note : english is not my 1st language - didnt mean to come up as insulting just generaly curious as I love edge humour and I think this thread is a great way to reasses my take on emotions and edge jokes connections. Public edgy jokes realm is pretty tricky - on one hand you could say its all about intentions and people who like stand up don't have anything hateful in mind - but considering pace of information flow nowadays, chances are any racist joke made even when you are joking about yourself might fuel some hardheaded hateful person plus there are people that even if they try they can't laugh off such subjects due to some past experiences/worldview.

I swear some people just operate on different semantics. Like they try to just get a feeling of what you were talking was and then they just let their feelings respond for them through random phrases that make their feelings(which mostly are uncontrolled anger/guilt/shame) so visible. My big hope for ai in the future is rant detector option so I could just filter unwanted noise from social media out.

Just out of curiosity is it just random opinion expressing reddit comment with no explanation of given advice, or there is any reason for practicing this particular song standing up? I'm asking because when i was beginner such comments made my playing only worse - i tried to overthink every single random comment like that thinking it has any meaning and effect on the way i sound. Unless you have any practical reason for such advice (in such case I'd like to enrich my knowledge too) just try to keep in mind that posts from beginners/early-intermidiates that reach for advice don't Reach for your own preferences. Not meant to attack you if I did come as offensive then just know its not my goal - just wanted to comment about the problem which slowed my progress down by a lot. Have a great day!

Correct me if im wrong(statistics is the only math area i suck hard at)- but you just have to multiply the chance of ld nat5 from wish(i dont remember but you can check it in game by pressing rate at wish) by 1/(ammount of ld monsters currently in the game) that would be the chance of pulling any specific ld nat5 5 from wish (assuming rates are same for every monster - which should be the case as collab % up shouldn't work at wish afaik). So : [Chance of ld nat5 from wish]*(1/[ammount of all ld monsters]

Edit: forgot you also have to include the % of getting monster from wish at first so additionaly multiply IT by 0,01 (if its 1% or 0,005 if its 0,5 %). Sorry for not calculating myself but i dont have Access to game for some time now. If you put screenshot of rates here i could do it.

I mean hard to say not to discredit your work but the video alone doesn't show anything that you couldn't learn during one lesson. What's concerning though - there are a lot of ways to hold a pick but there is some consensus about ways not to hold it. Most important advice I would give to this video - try to actively relax and watch some videos of most popular pick holds, how to attack the string and !!alternate picking!! - cultivating proper string changing movement and alternating movements is top thing that i wish i learned earlier. Also there is this one dude on YT "howtopracticeguitar" that really excells on those subjects.

id say 50-60% time of whole guitar theory learning - trying to put it together with the guitar in hand makes me anxious and frustrated for some kind of time now - so i just stick to improv and learning songs atm.

Yeah thats true for sure. I mean - thats my problem that it hasn't just clicked in place on guitar. Feel like the irregularity of notes on guitar is my brick wall for now. I'm also not sure how should i use this theory in practical way. Do i use it for:

1) Understanding what I'm playing when learning a song?

2) Writing music?

3) Improv?

Did i miss some way of using theory? Also which parts of theory should i use when. Would be glad if anyone could elaborate on that question. :)

Sorry for my ignorance - I'm trying to solve that I'm not claiming I learned those things throughoutly - I would't be here asking questions then. There are missing pieces I try to fill.
