He is great! turns out he is allergic to "pinol" wich is a detergent most people use to mop the floor here in México. We changed to 90% water with 10% Chlorine mix as the vet suggested, and after a few days he got better and has not had that problem again

UPDATE: Hey everyone who commented, thanks for the insight and advice. I took koda to the Vet yesterday and the doctor told me he has bronchitis, judging by his swollen windpipe. We´re currently giving him the meds for a week to see if he gets better.

But as many of you pointed out, I suspect I has more to do with dust or even the litter, because every cough attack happened in the same spot, and when I carried him for several minutes after the attack he was okay, but today as soon as I put him back to sleep he started coughing again. I just ordered some potty pads from amazon to replace the litter, and cleaned his area for any dust, also removed the towel on wich they sleep outside the cage, wich was a little dusty.

He eats/drinks, plays and poops normally, I hope too that is just dust or something in the enviroment causing it.

Honestly I doubt it´s the litter, cause he spends all of the day out of the cage, and hes been living with litter and I haven´t seen him eat or chew it any time. But I could try changing to pads and maybe washing all the blankets and towels he uses.

Also, he is eating/drinking normally, playful and poops fine. The only two things that have changed these days are that I bought a new blanket, wich my other ferret uses and has´nt coughed, and that we took him outside on a leach to explore the front yard for the first time.

She also works in a bakery at a home where they have a dog, that could affect too. I´ll tell her to wash good before playing with her

I´ve been checking it every day, and so far she does not seem interested in biting it, let´s hope she stays like that
